Grand Master Edmund F Celebucki, 8th Dan
Grand Master Edmund F Celebucki began his training April 5, 1968 under Grand Master Sang Oh Moon and obtained the coveted rank of Black Belt in 1972. Our Master went on to train under Grand Master Dong H. Choi until his passing in the mid 1980's. Edmund traveled to Sydney, Australia where he studied under S.H. Lee. With the instruction of Great Masters including Dan Inosanto, Bernard Fong, Reme Presus, Tony Marcial, Manual Taninco, and Wit Impetuwapong, Master Celebucki achieved his Grand Master status of 8th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do on May 22, 1999. Grand Master Celebucki was heavily influenced by the teachings of Al Gene Caraulia, the first world point karate champion and founder of the Karate Institutes of America and further influenced by his good friend Bill "Superfoot" Wallace, the first middle weight World Champion Full Contact PKC Fighter and Collegiate Wrestling Champion, among many others. Our instructor has gone on to become an internationally recognized weapons expert in the Philippine and Indonesian Martial Arts of Kali, Escrima, Arnis and Silat, founding the "Blooming Lotus Kali System". Throughout Master Celebucki's martial arts career is a trail of karate tournament championships, winning many local, state, national and international competitions. In 1980, Master Celebucki created the Self Defense training curriculum for the Cuyahoga County Sheriffs Department, which is still in use today! In 1984, during his world travels, Grand Master Celebucki trained the Papua, New Guinea Martial Arts team in Tae Kwon Do. With his instruction, the team became Tae Kwon Do Black Belts in the World Tae Kwon Do Federation. The team went on to represent Papua, New Guinea in the Barcelona, Spain Olympic Games. Master Celebucki has trained hundreds of students, many of whom have achieved Black Belts and are spreading the "Discipline of Self Improvement" all across the United States. His educatonal background is in childhood development and social work. He has also studied eastern religions. The Grand Master has dedicated his life to the improvement and empowerment of his students both physically and mentally. After his return to the United States, he founded the Ultimate Karate Center which has served the West Cleveland suburbs for over 10 years. Sensei Edward A Shutty, Jr.
Sensei Edward A Shutty , Jr. began his training in 1967 under the instruction of Guhn Y. Kim, Moo H. Kim and K.S. Parks. He later trained under Sensei Edward and Mrs. Grace Akiya, where he received his Black Belt on September 30, 1991. As a competitor, Sensei Shutty has won city, state and regional chmapionships. He was also a member of the Ohio Judo Team and a National place winner. Sensei Shutty then himself became a coach in Judo, Freestyle, Greco-Roman and Sambo wrestling, as well as Ju Jitsu. Through youth, middle school, high school and college clubs, he has helped to produce many city, state, refional and national champs, as well as World Team members. In September 2006, Sensei Shutty created Eshoot Ju Jitsu, which is registered under the American Federation of Ju Jitsu. He is currently teaching at Ultimate Karate Center in Parma, Ohio. Sensei Edward A Shutty, Jr. is currently registered as a Shodan with the Kodokan in Japan, United States Judo Federation, and as a Fifth Degree Black Belt with the American Federation of Ju Jitsu. |
